Basil Poledouris message board

Having been married to a musician/composer, myself, I know the soul of such a creative. Basil's music has always hit me in the core of my being. Each time I saw his name in the credits I would buy the movie or try to search out scores to listen to.

I am mourning only today as I'm afraid, with my busy life, I did not know he had died. For me...he was still living as his music fills my home. He will still live in my soul as the sweet strains of his notes continue to caress my deepest spirit.

May he be blessed for composing Conan The Barbarian, one of the greatest soundtrack ever written, great, beautiful, inspiring, romantic and probably the best soundtrack for epic/heroic movie genre.
