Basil Poledouris message board

I am on a quest to get Disney and Hans Zimmer to release the music to the 1991 Disney motion picture "White Fang", I believe it is Basil Poledouris' best work. Have you heard it? If so, might you agree that it is his best?
I told him that in a May 2000 letter I sent him. I have contacted Disney telling them that they have released music that hasn't sold that great, but yet they don't want to take a chance on the soundtrack to "White Fang". What a wonderful honor and tribute to pay to Maestro Poledouris than to have this released in 2007 for his family, fans and to the public. You may agree that other pieces are just as great, but they are released already. "Red Tape" holds up the release of the White Fang soundtrack, these are Basil Poledouris' s own words. The White Fang movie from 1991 is an anwsome movie. I have seen more times than I can count. I greatly enjoy the movie and the soundtrack must be released. If the CD with the music for White Fang II the first should be as well. I plan to write to Disney as well with a request that they should try bringing it out because like you I would do almost anything to see the music out. I was able to find a few samples and my anxiety to have the soundtrack for the original has gone through the ceiling. If you would like to respond to this comment I would greatly appreciate it. And once again I agree with you, the soundtrack for the moive White Fang from 1991 must be release on CD. Good-bye.
